Pembroke was delighted to celebrate with a crowd of close to 500 tenants, leasing agents, neighbors and friends in the newly renovated ground floor of Seaport East. The ground floor has been transformed into a light-filled, artfully designed space that creates a wow-inspiring sense of arrival, and now this lobby is so much more than a lobby. We have created the Wintergarden, a green space for every season—even in Boston! This garden oasis includes lush greens and soaring trees with two floors offering a variety in seating. 

“At Pembroke we care about created places for people, and we understand the need for work building to provide spaces that are for more than working. The Wintergarden includes seating that affords privacy for focus time or reflection, and there also are thoughtfully designed areas for groups to connect and collaborate,” said Kristan McLaughlin, Director, Asset Management, Boston for Pembroke. “The space is two levels, with the mezzanine level being called the Treetop. We are thrilled at the positive response we are receiving from our tenants on how this creative green space is adding value to their work days.” 

This renovation represents the latest exciting step ahead in the develop of Commonwealth Pier.
