“We’re responding to a very strong interest in Hästen 21, because this type of workspace is rare and highly coveted. The building is unique with the client experience it offers and its expansive amenities, including the rooftop terrace of approximately 2,000 square meters with 360º panoramic views of Stockholm. I’m delighted to announce that DLA Piper prioritized investing long-term in this high-quality and sustainably designed development. We’ve had a great dialogue from the start, and we look forward to continuing that journey together as we deliver on their workplace needs, creating their future Swedish headquarters,” says Kristin Willerström, Head of Nordics at Pembroke.
DLA Piper has approximately 250 employees in Sweden, who currently work on Sveavägen 4. The entire business will move into the new building in the summer of 2027.
“In recent years we have experienced fantastic growth, and our ambition is to continue growing. Our business requires both open and closed spaces, and it is important to have an office that offers great flexibility. When the opportunity at Pembroke’s property appeared, it was a given match based on our strategy, future needs and sustainability expectations. Pembroke has been responsive to our needs, and it feels special to move into a world-class facility. For us, an office is more than a workplace, it is a gathering place that reflects our ambition to constantly be at the forefront,” says Magnus Oskarsson, Country Managing Partner at DLA Piper in Sweden.
Hästen 21 is part of Pembroke’s project to upgrade the entire city block and to create an environment that connects people. Via new passages, squares, restaurants and retail, Pembroke is transforming one of Stockholm’s most central districts to a more accessible and attractive place.
